Are you starting to explore the wonderful world of Tezos NFTs? This handy list has you covered. From educational projects to creation tools and more, Asia’s blockchain innovators have created the tools you need to get started.

Educational NFT Resources

Salamax Cutie

Salamax Cutie is an art collective of students and young professionals that aims to use poetry as a form of entertainment and a platform for education. This community-driven project inspires individuals through passion-driven programs, initiating charitable acts, and promoting art as a career.

The project provides a wealth of knowledge that helps Filipino artists to kickstart their careers in the NFT space. Programs such as workshops, seminars, physical events, art exhibits, artist hubs, and apprenticeships are all part of the mix.

Importantly, Salamax Cutie wants to produce not just artists but promote an artistic culture within the country.

Data management and tracking tools

Dataverse

Dataverse is a private space for managing cross-chain metaverse assets, including NFTs, POAPs (proof of attendance protocols - a new way of keeping an immutable record of your life experiences, including virtual and in-person events), and social relations. The goal of the platform is to build a secure cyberspace where users take control of their data as well as a composable data infrastructure.

The project is the brainchild of OwnershipLabs from China. Dataverse supports the curation of a user’s NFTs across numerous marketplaces, including Opensea, Objkt.com, and MagicEden.

Part personal museum and part information aggregator for cross-platform and cross-chain content management, Dataverse is a powerful offering for those interested in adding an additional layer of security and ease to their NFTs online.

What’s more, the Dataverse app sits as an extension in Chrome – what could be easier than that?

NFTScan

NFTScan is a professional NFT explorer and analytics platform, which will soon onboard the Tezos blockchain.

As of the end of June 2022, the Open API platform launched by NFTScan has accumulated over 1000 developer registered accounts. The platform’s vision is to provide developers with secure and stable data services, and users with concise and efficient retrieval services for NFT related data.

NFT creation tools

SweatyNFT

If you’re an artist about to launch your NFT career but don’t know how to get started, SweatyNFT has your back. SweatyNFT is an all-in-one, no-code NFT toolset for artists.

The team behind the platform noticed that there was a serious lack of tools that artists can use to generate images without coding skills. With SweatyNFT, artists don’t have to interact with code in order to make a generative collection and set traits.

According to founder Sarisa Kojima, the team behind SweatyNFT started out wanting to support the ‘creator economy’, but found there weren’t enough tools to support new artists. Instead of waiting for someone else to build them, Kojima and her co-founders decided to do it themselves. The team received a TZ APAC Ecosystem Growth Grant (EGG) and got to work.

Smart Contract and cross-chain compatibility are a must for creators, and SweatyNFT is striving to meet the needs of the entire NFT community, especially in the areas of character and skin generation for the Metaverse.

The Tezos FA.2 contracts integration is currently under development and will be available soon. In addition to Smart Contract deployment, SweatyNFT is also releasing a ‘Lazy Minting’ widget for artists’ websites.

Sphere.ART

One of the winners of the inaugural TezAsia Hackathon in 2021, Sphere.ART has taken a unique approach to the concept of an NFT marketplace.

The platform allows creators, designers, and developers to mint original 3D sphere NFTs on the Tezos blockchain. The platform’s unique functionality allows users to move the camera to orbit around each 3D Sphere NFT. This gives the users freedom to look around the NFT and have a close-to real-life three-dimensional view, playing with the concept of how art is viewed in virtual space.

The platform’s 3D Sphere Art Editor allows creators to craft their original work without the need for complex 3rd party software or powerful machines to assist in rendering the design. Easy to learn and to use, the editor also auto-saves all your work, so you’ll never accidentally lose your original work.

NFT Marketplaces

akaSwap

akaSwap is a friendly, open and green NFT platform based on Tezos. On akaSwap, everyone can easily create, trade, and collect various NFT from all over the world. Founder Aluan Wang is a veteran digital artist based in Taiwan, and akaSwap represents a logical progression for Wang from artist and community leader to marketplace creator.

akaOBJ is a word coined by the platform to refer to an NFT minted on akaSwap. NFTs on akaSwap can be anything including pictures, videos, sounds, and visual arts. Users enjoy unlimited trades and also earn akaDAO – an FA2l token related to the platform.

Kalamint

Kalamint is the first community-driven NFT marketplace on the Tezos blockchain. The team behind Kalamint is extremely sensitive to their community’s needs and has launched new features like an auction feature to answer community requests.

The platform allows users to both mint and trade NFTs, benefiting from Tezos’ lower gas fees compared to other leading blockchains. The platform is free and connects easily with Temple wallet.
