The sparkling lights. The warm feeling in the heart. The Christmas trees. Everyone’s favorite time of the year is finally here.
For the Tezos community in the Philippines, there is an extra reason to celebrate. Tezmas returns for the second year running, launched by Tezos Philippines and supported by TZ APAC and the Crypto Art Philippines group.
Tezmas is a Christmas-themed contest running from 5 November to 12 December 2022, where participants will create NFTs that capture how Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines. From parols (Filipino ornamental lanterns), belens (Christmas nativity scenes) and simbang gabi (nine days of Masses) to puto bumbong (Filipino purple rice cakes) and bibingka (baked rice cakes), there will be no limit placed on creativity that can be expressed in this contest.
Tezmas 2022 is open to all artists in the Philippines.
Create a Digital Artwork, based on the theme “Christmas in Metaverse”
Between 3 November to 12 December 2022, mint 2 or more editions of that Artwork on Teia or OBJKT.com

Aldrine Alarcon is a multimedia artist, and an avid collector and creator of NFTs. Part of the renowned Alacorn brothers, his work is a brilliant blend of realism and minimalism.
Kimi Rocha is an art curator and founder of Galaria Paloma (bridging traditional art and NFTs, as well as an entrepreneur (founder of BananaramaPh).
