The Tezos ecosystem is celebrated for the quality of its art, from the strength and collaborative nature of its art communities, as well as dedication to supporting creators.
Genesy is on a mission to democratize art by launching the first Open Platform for 1/1 art NFTs on Tezos. With a strong belief that art should be accessible to all, Genesy provides artists and collectors the opportunity to mint and collect rare digital art created by the talented artists in the Tezos ecosystem.
Currently, most NFTs are minted as part of a series of several digital pieces. On the other hand, 1/1 NFTs are only ever minted once - so, only one edition of that artwork will ever exist.
1/1 Art NFTs are a prime example of how NFT technology brings back digital scarcity, making art collection in the Internet age possible again.
In July 2022, the art community organized Tezos 1/1 Art NFT week, in order to promote and celebrate high-value rare pieces of art on Tezos. This Twitter-focused event attracted 7213 minted works, and raised a total sales figure of $287,456. Further, in Q3 2022 Tezos NFT sales volume reached an All-Time-High, jumping 42% from the previous year.
At Genesy, the team believes in openness and decentralization but also understands that curation is important for artists and collectors. While platforms should be open to everyone, quality artworks should be prominently showcased.
To achieve this balance of accessibility and quality, Genesy harnesses both the power of data and community.
Data - their “Open Curation” model
Genesy leverages the power of data analytics to help users make decisions for creating, buying, and selling art.
Community - the human element
Data isn’t just about numbers - it also empowers trust between people.
For example, Genesy knows that top charts alone don’t help buyers understand what artwork has value, and they harness the power of community to solve this problem.
Genesy makes this possible, by introducing “Circle”. Users can add “friends” to their network, and the artworks that users’ friends collect will be displayed along with popular artists within the Circle. New buyers can make buying decisions by looking at what their trusted friends have bought.
For over a decade, Guido Mologni has been involved professionally in the contemporary art market as a fair director and art dealer. In 2016, Guido decided to get into tech, aiming to bring innovation and excitement to the art world.
Guido has long been a staunch native of the Tezos ecosystem, being an early user of Hic En Nunc, fxhash, 8bidou and type.art.
He says: “Over the past few years, I’ve been an active buyer of NFTs created on Tezos. I was quite early on HEN, fxhash, 8bidou and type.art, and I appreciate how meaningful the Tezos art community is.
In particular, I’ve been lucky to collect artworks from some amazing artists such as Quasimodo, Kevin Abosch, Helena Sarin, Iskra Velitchkova, Caesuras, Sarah Zucker, Manoloide and many more.”
Guido is also experienced in the world of startups, in particular social e-commerce in art. His past experiences have taught him well what users enjoy (like a simple and clean user interface), and will serve him well at Genesy,
At Genesy, Guido is joined by Simon and Nadia, a full-stack developer with proven knowledge of blockchain engineering and an award winning UX/UI designer respectively.
Evolv is a platform created to help brands seamlessly launch the next generation of upgradeable dynamic NFTs, which aims to gamify and reward users for interacting with the Tezos ecosystem.
Actions and interactions (e.g. providing liquidity on a DEX) may trigger conditions to upgrade each NFT to a higher tier of rewards and utilities. This allows brands and companies to engage meaningfully with users like never before, taking them through a Web3 experiential journey.
Evolv’s proprietary infrastructure makes NFTs dynamic, which means that they can be upgraded through interaction and engagement. These NFTs can change based on input from data feeds (like changing background according to weather) through their inhouse oracle.
Evolv’s infrastructure also allows NFT issuers to reward users for interactions, incentivizing them to participate in campaigns. This unlocks long-term utility for NFTs.
For example,
Evolving Event NFT Tickets
These could be issued at events, where each NFT will evolve based on the users’ interactions - each one being a unique memento of their journey. The information could include records of booths visited or contact information of new friends.
Interactive Proof-of-Attendance Protocol (PoAP) tokens
These NFTs could act as certificates or digital records of tasks completed, or educational courses attended. With Evolv’s NFTs, individuals may have records of competency all stored in one NFT.
Brand rewards
Brands are able to interact with audiences in many different ways. For example, they can take consumers through a branded experiential/gamified journey, and reward them at different stages.
Evolv’s previously launched pilot project, Demons.World, was built on the same concept of evolved NFTs. The reception from the market has been unbelievable - having sold out instantly all 4 times they minted.
From there, 97% of all NFTs reached the maximum level (in terms of upgrades) in 2 days, demonstrating the potential for strong engagement.
“With the launch and success of our pilot product demons.world, we have already validated the concept of upgradable dynamic NFTs. Our aim is to superimpose that same concept and offer it as a service to other brands - so that they can build stronger consumer relationships.” - Madhav Khandelwal, Founder
In 2018, Madhav started his blockchain journey by designing Web3 products for over 12 projects. Subsequently, Madhav joined Zilliqa as a Product and Brand Designer, designing over 20 projects in his two-year span in Zilliqa which most prominently includes DeFi Products with a total TVL of over $600 million USD.
Madhav is joined by Bibek Koirala and Utkarsh Kulshrestha as co-founders, and here’s what he has to say:
“Our team is extremely passionate about building the future of the Web! The opportunity to do so isn’t available to everyone - and we’re beyond grateful to be able to build what we’re building.”

Many share an intense bond of love with their animal companions, and the joy they bring into everyone’s lives is immeasurable. According to psychologists, the passing of pets can be even more traumatic than losing a family member.
Petven is a metaverse where you can immortalize your pets onto the blockchain, along with all treasured memories. Rendered in beautiful 3D, this fairyland-like metaverse allows you to spend time with your pets again in an open-world concept, and even visit your friends’ old pets! Growing up around dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens, Joan is a born animal lover. She holds two degrees - one in Fashion and Textile Design and one in Information Management.
Having started her career as a database programmer and subsequently making waves in the fashion industry as a business professional (even winning some startup prizes for Sustainable Fashion), Joan is well-placed to bring her creative vision to the blockchain.
Joan’s strengths as a founder lie beyond her tenacity. In her endeavors, she shines in leadership, branding, art direction, business development, sales and strategy. She tells us that as a founder, she enjoys doing and seeing things differently, which allows her to create new things that she truly loves and believes in. It is this open mind and out-of-the-box thinking that brewed up Petven.
Interestingly, Joan’s initial direction in Web3 was a little different - a metaverse streetwear line quirkily titled “Excuse Miaow”. While this idea quickly gained traction, Joan’s mind opened up towards a direction that only blockchain would fulfill: Petven.
“Over the years, I dream of the animals that I’ve loved visiting me in my dreams. I think of them as my guardian angels, but always wake up feeling sad that they’re gone. I wished I had a way to immortalize them forever, and visit them whenever I feel sad,” said Joan.
This inspired Petven - a place where people like her could go to relive cherished memories with their pets.
“These moments are truly exciting for me, when people love my idea and give me support”, said Joan.

Game Geeks is a team that believes that the gaming industry is rapidly growing and that game developers are finally getting the worth they deserve. Game Geeks aims to assist gamers and creators in honing their products and talents, by transforming the gaming industry by integrating it with blockchain technology. The vision is a decentralized gaming hub used by almost all games, from hypercasual games to classic gaming genres.
Most games are Play2Earn
To most people, blockchain gaming is Play2Earn. While this isn’t surprising, following the wild success of well-known games like Axie Infinity and Stepn, Game Geeks wishes to make it clear that the emphasis of blockchain gaming should first and foremost be the fun it gives to players.
Game Geeks will host games of many genres, from hypercasual to First Person Shooters (FPS), Real Time Strategy (RTS), and Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs).
They don’t have proper tokenomics
For blockchain games, stable tokenomics are very important for the health of the game. But creating a stable token-based ecosystem is an area of expertise all on its own.
Game Geeks will enable a solid game ecosystem, which will utilize the same token and tokenomics for all games. This will reduce difficulty for players, who may not have expertise in areas like bridging or swapping tokens.
Developers aren’t blockchain-empowered
The skills required for game development and blockchain programming are completely separate. Game Geeks helps to seamlessly on-board these developers, for example creating reusable assets which can be used in multiple games.
In the future, Game Geeks will roll out a NFT marketplace, a gaming asset store/launchpad, and a feature where every game will have different in-game modes (from competitive to casual).
Sanket Nighot and Ayush Yadav both started their journey as Co-Founders of Game Geeks at the Tezos India Fellowship 2021, an intensive 8-week mentor led program. Since then, they’ve amassed a wealth of experience in blockchain, from battle-testing their skills on various projects and now leading a truly innovative startup.
Sanket is an Information Technology graduate, with rich experience working on blockchain projects like Lords of the Lands and Payper Finance. As a blockchain developer, he is proficient with Smartpy, Ligo, Solidity. Having worked closely with the Tezos India team as a Bootcamp and Hackathon mentor, Sanket’s rich experience ensures that Game Geeks is on a steady path to success.
Ayush has graduated with a degree in Computer Science, and is working as a software engineer. He is passionate about blockchain, and is a full-stack developer with hands-on experience with a wide variety of languages including Javascript, Python, and Nodejs.
“We have studied the current Web3 gaming industry thoroughly, and we know where improvement is needed. We can use the Tezos blockchain to give gamers the great gaming experience they deserve!”, said Ayush.
